Police shot and wounded a man who fled from them in a stolen car in Queens on Sunday night, authorities and sources said. <\/p>\n

The shooting took place just before 10 p.m. at 97th Avenue and Allendale Street in Jamaica following a police pursuit of the stolen vehicle, police and sources said. <\/p>\n

Two men were inside the vehicle, including the 28-year-old suspect who was shot by police in the torso, sources said. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, police said.<\/p>\n

Two officers were taken to an area hospital for tinnitus, sources said.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the second police-involved shooting since Thursday, when two plainclothes narcotics cops fatally shot a man who was charging at them with a knife.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
