He reluctantly steps down from the case and retires after getting nowhere. Burt\u2019s daughter Kris Williams, who works for the FBI, along with her partner Sean Michael\u2019s take over the case. For the next few months the \u201cPoe Killer\u201d continues his killing spree. Finally Kris discovers that the killer uses internet chat rooms to seduce his prey. She logs in as \u201cAnnabel Lee\u201d (a Poe story title) and sure enough, the \u201cPoe Killer\u201d contacts her. She sets up a meeting at a nearby bowling alley. But, when things go wrong and Kris is abducted and her partner Sean is slaughtered, it becomes a race against time for Burt and ex-partner Grace Andrews to find his daughter before she becomes the next victim of this madman.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Director: Jeff Burton<br \/>Screenplay: Jeff Burton, Larry F. Hill and others<br \/>Producer: Jeff Burton and others<br \/>Starring: David Borowicz, Dee Wallace, Spice Williams-Crosby<\/p>\n<p><strong>REVIEW:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Edgar Allen Poe adaptations are not easy to bring to the screen anymore and still make them compelling. Poe\u2019s tales are old and worn out stereotypes that don\u2019t excite contemporary horror fans as much as the 1960s and 1970s. I personally think it\u2019s better to let Poe\u2019s narratives fertilize a writer\u2019s mind and leave the original story as the written word or simply adapt his tales in an entirely original and inventive way.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDead End Road\u201d is rather slow and predictable in many of its set ups. The \u201cPoe Killer\u201d played by \u201cDavid Borowicz\u201d is also a bit to hip with his internet ease dropping tactics as he continues his murderous rage. Kris Williams \u201cSpice Williams-Crosby\u201c uses the name \u201cAnnabel Lee\u201d to track down the killer and sets up a meeting at a nearby bowling alley. You would think the killer would be more cautious with his get-together\u2019s, or at least not be so easy to uncover. And wouldn\u2019t some CSI division get involved somewhere along the way by searching with Poe book titles? The \u201ccat and dog\u201d chase ending is also another predictable plot element that makes this movie just another low budget horror movie.<span id=\"more-26737\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The lighting is reliable and well designed which allows the camera work to be effective in its mostly nighttime scenes. The movie was shot on video and was possibly make in 2003, so it\u2019s safe to assume \u201cfilm-like\u201d filters were not assessable to the editor at the time of post-production and sadly the movie simply looks to \u201cvideo\u201d like.<\/p>\n<p>Though I do like the nice cover art on the DVD, though it kind of defies the more contemporary nature of the movie. In the end that\u2019s about far as I <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>laud the movie.<\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
