A man was chased for a half a block and shot repeatedly on a Bronx street Sunday morning, shocking onlookers, police and a witness said.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old victim \u2014 who police say is a rapp<\/a>er \u2014 was fighting for his life after being blasted five or six times outside 377 Brook Ave. near 143rd St. around 8:30 a.m., police said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard like gunshots \u2018pow pow\u2019 maybe four or more,\u201d a man who would only identify himself as Jose said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guy was full of blood on his chest, stomach and back. He didn\u2019t look good. It\u2019s dangerous out here. They\u2019re telling me he got chased out of the bodega and they shot him up here, a half block away. Crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0victim, who wasn\u2019t immedia<\/a>tely identified, was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center in critical condition, cops said.<\/p>\n

Investigators were reviewing surveillance video and trying to determine if the man had been in a fight inside a nearby store before he was shot, cops said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
