{"id":162415,"date":"2021-01-24T20:23:24","date_gmt":"2021-01-24T17:23:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/man-busted-for-storing-900-propane-tanks-in-brooklyn-warehouse\/"},"modified":"2021-01-24T20:23:24","modified_gmt":"2021-01-24T17:23:24","slug":"man-busted-for-storing-900-propane-tanks-in-brooklyn-warehouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/man-busted-for-storing-900-propane-tanks-in-brooklyn-warehouse\/","title":{"rendered":"#Man busted for storing 900 propane tanks in Brooklyn warehouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Man busted for storing 900 propane tanks in Brooklyn warehouse<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/fdny-propane-stockpile-web.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The manager of a Brooklyn warehouse was charged with reckless endangerment after fire inspectors nabbed him with a stash of more than 900 propane cylinders, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Mohamed, 58, who runs the Gowanus warehouse, was arrested after fire inspectors uncovered the combustible stockpile of 20-pound propane tanks on Friday, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CKZFSWyF2ZT\/?igshid=illfl08yqug9\">the FDNY said on Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf not for the due diligence\u00a0of our fire inspectors, there\u2019s a great danger,\u201d FDNY spokesman James Long said Sunday. \u201cIt could let loose and explode in a manner that could be deadly.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou introduce a fire to that scenario and it\u2019s a fire that is advanced,\u201d Long said. \u201cIt could\u00a0level a city block.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fire inspectors said the cylinders were stacked \u201cfrom floor to ceiling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was charged with storing over 900 propane tanks in an unoccupied building,\u201d a police source said. <\/p>\n<p>Mohamed, of Bayonne, NJ, admitted that he was ordering the tanks in bulk so he could sell them to someone else, who in turn was peddling the propane to Big <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le restaurants so they could heat their outdoor serving areas during indoor-dining prohibitions due to the coronavirus pandemic, officials said. <\/p>\n<p>In all, the fire marshals uncovered 904 of the cylinders, the department said. <\/p>\n<p>Mohamed did not return a call seeking comment on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He was released on a desk appearance ticket, police said.\n            <\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async defer src=\"https:\/\/platform.instagram.com\/en_US\/embeds.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
