President Biden is siding firmly with the hard cultural left in his early rush of executive orders, including re-opening the door for federal bias training that relies on the absurd \u201ccritical race theory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week he rescinded a Trump-era order that banned training that implies anyone is racist or sexist \u201cby virtue of his or her race, sex, and\/or national origin.\u201d The former prez had set that rule after it turned out that agencies across the federal government had actually been doing just that \u2014 jumping onto the far-left bandwagon of insisting that (for starters) all whites and all men are intrinsically bigoted.<\/p>\n

Yes, several agencies reacted to the Trump order by suspending all anti-bias training until they could vet their programs \u2014 but that was a wise response: It\u2019s all too typical for harried bosses to carelessly sign off on the use of outside \u201cexperts\u201d who pitch utter nonsense.<\/p>\n

And if you don\u2019t buy the radical claim of the far left that America is rife with hidden bigotry, it\u2019s hard to see why even non<\/em>-crazy training in avoiding bias is needed for the most of the vast federal workforce. This is basically a \u201cculture war\u201d project snuck into practice without any rational debate.<\/p>\n

Notably, Biden at the same time also disbanded President Donald Trump\u2019s 1776 Commission withdrew the final report<\/a> it had just released. The report condemned attempts from the left to taint America\u2019s founding principles by emphasizing slavery as core to the nation\u2019s founding.<\/p>\n

It was an answer to The New York Times\u2019 error-ridden \u201c1619 Project,\u201d which aims to teach schoolchildren that the nation was founded to defend oppression, not freedom, and has been condemned by many of the nation\u2019s top liberal historians, including specialists in slavery.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the Times decried the 45-page report<\/a>, pretending it \u201cdefends America\u2019s founding on the basis of slavery.\u201d In reality, the report acknowledges the horror of slavery but also recognizes that America\u2019s founding planted the seeds for its abolition at a time when slavery was practiced worldwide.<\/p>\n

If Biden doesn\u2019t stop his de-facto support of this lefty lunacy, all his talk of rebuilding America\u2019s center will prove nothing but deceitful noise.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
