The boat-<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a>d is located\u00a0in Adventureland at four Disney theme parks worldwide, and today it\u2019s been announced that the attractions in Disneyland park at Disneyland Resort and Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort will be receiving upgrades that will \u201cstay true to the experience we know and love \u2013 more humor, wildlife and skipper heart \u2013 and also reflect and value the diversity of the world around us.\u201d It\u2019s also all but certain that these upgrades will include elements that tie into the upcoming\u00a0<strong><em>Jungle Cruise<\/em><\/strong> movie.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jungle_Cruise_Ride_Updates\"><\/span><strong>Jungle Cruise Ride Updates<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"New Adventures to \u201cCast\u201d Off Along World-Famous Jungle Cruise | Disneyland Park &amp; Magic Kingdom Park\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/22aewfwCQ7k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->The <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> comes from the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/disneyparks.disney.go.com\/blog\/2021\/01\/new-adventures-to-cast-off-soon-along-world-famous-jungle-cruise-at-disneyland-park-and-magic-kingdom-park\/\">Disney Parks blog<\/a>, which promises to upgrade the ride while staying true to the things fans hold dear. You know, like animatronic hippos and stuff like that. Regarding the upgrades,\u00a0Kevin Lively, a Disney Imagineer and former Jungle Cruise Skipper, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cAs part of this story update, we\u2019ll get to follow a skipper and his passengers as their journey goes awry. That\u2019s right, for the first time ever, the skipper role will not only be that of a live, experienced, and witty guide, but also represented by a show figure within the attraction itself. In fact, the expedition will be up a tree (literally!) after their sunken boat splits apart and chimps board the wreckage, with monkey business ensuing\u2026Fans of the Jungle Cruise attraction may recall some boats that used to make their way around the river but haven\u2019t been seen for a while\u2026Ever wonder what happened tot hem? Well, you might go ape when you find out! Ultimately, the jungle gets the last laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Not sure why that last bit sounds vaguely ominous, but there you have it.<\/p>\n<p>The details remain slightly vague at the moment, and while there\u2019s no mention of the upcoming\u00a0<em>Jungle Cruise<\/em> movie, it\u2019s probably a pretty good bet that some of these new additions to the attraction will tie into the film in some way. Directed by\u00a0<strong>Jaume Collet-Serra<\/strong> and starring\u00a0<strong>Dwayne Johnson<\/strong> and<strong> Emily Blunt<\/strong>,\u00a0<em>Jungle Cruise<\/em> is set during the early 20th century and follows \u201ca riverboat captain named Frank takes [who] a scientist and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life which is believed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The fact that the updates will strive to \u201creflect and value the diversity of the world around us\u201d also indicates that Disney is hoping to remove offensive elements from the ride. When it was announced that\u00a0Splash Mountain would be removing references to the controversial Disney film\u00a0<em>Song of the South<\/em>, many voiced the opinion that changes should be made to Jungle Crusie as well. As I<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/jungle-cruise-ride-redesign-disney-splash-mountain-criticism\">GN<\/a> reports, the attraction \u201cincludes animatronic human characters, depicting some native populations as headhunters and including insensitive period language (the ride is set during the 1930s) from white characters who refer to the indigenous characters as \u2018savages.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Jungle Cruise ride first launched at Disneyland in 1955. The\u00a0Magic Kingdom version opened in 1971, with versions following at\u00a0Tokyo Disneyland in 1983 and\u00a0Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005.
