The official website for the upcoming reboot TV anime<\/span><\/a> based on Hiroyuki Takei's Shaman King<\/strong><\/em> manga announced that Takehito Koyasu<\/strong> will reprise his role as Faust VIII. He is one of the returning cast members from the 2001-2002 TV anime, alongside Megumi Hayashibara<\/strong> as Anna Kyoyama and Inuko Inuyama<\/strong> as Manta Oyamada. <\/p>\n

Faust VIII is a necromancer from Germany who joins the Shaman Fight to revive his beloved wife, Eliza. Koyasu says on the anime's official website that the charm of the Shaman King<\/em><\/strong> series<\/a> is "The worldview, the story, the characters, and everyone's love," then expresses his enthusiasm for playing the role of FaustVIII again – "I'm happ<\/a>y to love Eliza again even after my rebirth. I will do my best on playing Faust. I would appreciate your support."<\/p>\n
