A wrestler-turned-football-player-turned-actor, the multi-hyphenate is one of the most recognizable (and well-paid) faces in the world. But every famous figure has to come from somewhere, and that\u2019s exactly what\u00a0<strong><em>Young Rock<\/em><\/strong> explores. The NBC sitcom, created by\u00a0<em>Fresh Off the Boat<\/em>\u00a0creators\u00a0<strong>Nanatchka Khan<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Jeff Chiang<\/strong> tells the story of, well, the young Rock, stretching back to when he was a boy living in Hawaii, to his young adulthood as an aspiring wrestler. In the \u201cnew comedy about Johnson\u2019s outrageous youth,\u201d Dwayne Johnson looks back on his life \u2014 through the perspective of an \u201cinterview\u201d with a reporter (played by\u00a0<em>Fresh Off the Boat<\/em>\u2018s Randall Park) as he prepares to run for the presidency in 2032. Is that just a meta-joke about how the internet wants Johnson to\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/dwayne-johnson-for-president-cover\">run for president<\/a>\u00a0(ooh, don\u2019t open that can of worms) or is that an actual tease that he has his eyes on the White House?<\/p>\n<p>Before we have time to ponder that question,\u00a0<em>Young Rock<\/em> drops us into the life of the child Dwayne Johnson, growing up in Hawaii in a family of wrestlers, including his beloved wrestler father Rocky Johnson (<strong>Joseph Lee Anderson<\/strong>). It then takes us through the rest of his pre-fame life, as a 6\u20194 and 225 pound 15-year-old whom everyone believed to be an undercover cop after he transferred to a Nashville high school. The trailer shows all three actors playing Johnson at different points in his life:\u00a0<strong>Adrian Groulx<\/strong> as 10-year-old Johnson, <strong>Bradley Constant<\/strong> as 15-year-old\u00a0Johnson, and\u00a0<strong>Uli Latukefu<\/strong>\u00a0as 18-20-year-old Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to find Young Rock, for example, wreaking havoc in the streets of Hawaii when I was a very young teenager, getting arrested seemingly every single week, doing a lot of things I shouldn\u2019t have been doing,\u201d Johnson said at last year\u2019s Television Critics Association presentation, where NBC\u00a0announced the comedy <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>. \u201cStill a good kid. Then from there of course we were evicted off the island and forced to leave the island and move to of all places Nashville, Tennessee, where again I continued to get in trouble.
