Several of those login options are <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Biometrics\">biometric<\/a>, which means that they use an aspect of your body for identity verification.<\/p>\n<p>That includes scanning your face or fingerprint using methods similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le\u2019s Face ID and Touch ID to gain access to your Windows account. Biometric logins also offer an additional level of security, since you must be physically present during the login.<\/p>\n<p>To use Windows Hello, your machine must either include built-in support for biometric logins or you\u2019ll need to install a compatible biometric login device such as a webcam or a fingerprint reader. Here\u2019s what they mean.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Windows Hello Face:<\/strong> This allows you to log in with facial recognition. A special camera that supports this feature is required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Windows Hello Fingerprint:<\/strong> This lets you log in using a fingerprint reader, which can either be built-in on your laptop or a USB fingerprint reader that you plug in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Windows Hello PIN:<\/strong> This sets up a PIN number that serves as a backup in case biometric logins fail. You can also use it as your main login option instead of a password.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Security Key:<\/strong> This allows you to sign in with a security key, which is a small physical device that either plugs into your USB port or is read by a special RFID reader device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If Windows Hello is not currently enabled, you may also see \u201cPassword\u201d and \u201cPicture Password\u201d options, which are not part of Hello.
