The official Twitter<\/a> account for the World Trigger<\/span><\/a> <\/strong><\/em>manga series<\/a> announced<\/span><\/a> today that the manga series will be taking a hiatus in the March 2021 issue of Jump Square, which will be released February 4, due to author Daisuke Ashihara<\/strong> suddenly becoming ill. World Trigger<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/em> is expected to return in the April issue of the magazine, which is scheduled for early March.<\/p>\n

\nThe 23rd volume of the series will still be published on February 4 as planned.<\/em><\/p>\n

Though this isn't the first time the manga has been on hiatus due to the creators health. The first time the series was put on hiatus was in 2014 when Ashihara<\/strong> was being treated for a pinched nerve and then was put on hiatus a second time in 2016 for an undisclosed health reason.<\/p>\n

We hope Ashihara<\/strong> returns to full health again soon!<\/p>\n
