Michael Strahan is on the mend after contracting COVID-19<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Strahan\u2019s \u201cGood Morning America\u201d co-hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Amy Robach addressed his diagnosis Thursday morning and said he\u2019s doing \u201cwell\u201d while quarantining at home.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo many of you have reached out to him and asked about him, and he says, \u2018Thank you for the concern and well wishes,’\u201d Stephanopoulos shared of 49-year-old Strahan. \u201cHe\u2019s also feeling well and looking forward to being back here shortly.\u201d <\/p>\n

Stephanopoulos noted that he and the other anchors and crew were cleared by Disney, ABC\u2019s parent company, to be at work after following CDC guidelines and contact tracing.<\/p>\n

Robach then revealed that while speaking to the New York Giants legend on Wednesday she joked that she\u2019d like for him to \u201churry back\u201d so she can \u201cset her alarm clock back an hour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMichael, we wish you the very best,\u201d Robach added.<\/p>\n

Stephanopoulos, 59, had the virus last year and recovered.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
