Since then, she\u2019s had a steady stream of roles (including <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> such as \u201cClash of the Titans\u201d) and is now pulling double-duty in two different costume dramas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the Netflix hit \u201cBridgerton,\u201d set in the 1800s, Walker co-stars as the cunning and ruthless Lady Portia Featherington. And, in the Epix \u201960s-era drama \u201cPennyworth\u201d (Sundays at 9 p.m. on Fox), she co-stars as Peggy Sykes, a powerful dominatrix.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Walker, 54, answered some questions for The Post about her recent roles.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Do_you_have_a_particular_interest_in_costume_dramas\"><\/span><strong>Do you have a particular interest in costume dramas?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I feel very comfortable within [that genre], just because I\u2019m very experienced in it. Being British, you\u2019re kind of schooled in it from an early age. We do historical dramas in acting school\u2026so it doesn\u2019t seem like such an alien world. It\u2019s fairly easy for British actors to make it feel modern and present. But I like to do whatever I consider is a good project \u2014 whether it\u2019s set in the future, the present or in the Regency era [as in \u201cBridgerton\u201d]. I think I\u2019ve been doing it long enough to know that things\u00a0you think are going to be a huge hit sometimes never see the light of day. So I try not to have any kind of attachment, but I\u2019m incredibly pleased and proud of everybody\u2019s work \u2014 and I think it\u2019s getting some well-deserved success.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m working again with [executive producer] Bruno Heller, with whom I did \u201cRome.\u201d I think he\u2019s amazing and incredibly talented, so I\u2019m h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y to be part of anything he does. And it\u2019s set in the \u201960s and its very tongue-in-cheek and fun. My character has a sex shop in Soho and has dubious morals. You can sink deep into the part and explore avenues that perhaps you wouldn\u2019t normally explore. So it\u2019s quite nice to be able to murder someone or prance around in the [\u201cBridgerton\u201d] era. It\u2019s all a good old <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> of make-believe. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_was_your_favorite_aspect_of_%E2%80%9CBridgerton%E2%80%9D\"><\/span><strong>What was your favorite aspect of \u201cBridgerton?\u201d<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I loved being in the homes. They were so exquisitely designed and detailed that it sort of took your breath away when you arrived on set in the morning and hadn\u2019t been in that particular room yet, or down that staircase, and then seeing all the regalia.
