\nIn case you hadn\u2019t seen, the internet went wild with speculation this week after\u00a0Machine Gun Kelly<\/strong> posted a video backstage at\u00a0SNL<\/em> in which you could see\u00a0Megan Fox<\/strong> in the background just casually wearing a big, shiny ring on THAT finger.<\/p>\n

We assume everyone wouldn\u2019t have jumped to conclusions that it was\u00a0that<\/em> kind of ring except, you know, the couple have been moving at light speed through their short relationship.<\/p>\n

We mean, they are \u201ctwin flames\u201d after all \u2014 you know, one soul split into two bodies. So you can\u2019t exactly blame us for wondering if they\u2019ve taken the next step and gotten engaged, right?<\/p>\n

Well, it turns out Megan can! LOLz!<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Jennifer\u2019s Body<\/em> star took to her\u00a0Instagram Story<\/strong> on Friday afternoon to deliver a powerful response to the rumor mill:<\/p>\n

Ha!<\/p>\n

Our first thought is that Megan is telling everyone to mind their own effin\u2019 business when it comes to the relationship. You know, the one that they\u2019re shoving in our faces in music videos and on social media<\/a> and in interviews.<\/p>\n

But it could be an even more explicit message. She could be showing off that\u00a0this<\/em> is the ring she was sporting in that video the whole time. Maybe the f**k was just catching the light in such a way that it looked like a big ol\u2019 rock?<\/p>\n

If that\u2019s the case, this is a pretty firm denial. Well, at least for a post with no words.<\/p>\n

Well, technically TWO words\u2026<\/p>\n

If they aren\u2019t engaged, let\u2019s be honest \u2014 it\u2019s just a matter of time, right? Just last month we heard from a source spilling to\u00a0People<\/em> that Megan \u201chopes the divorce\u201d from estranged hubby\u00a0Brian Austin Green<\/strong> \u201cwill happ<\/a>en quickly and be uncomplicated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Obviously that\u2019s what\u00a0every<\/em> divorc\u00e9e hopes for, but not all of them find their other half so quickly after the split. (Or shortly before the split in this case.)<\/p>\n

Of course that same source did say the couple are moving forward at a more prudent pace than they\u2019re making it sound:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are making plans for the future and want to live together. Megan has been taking things slowly though to make sure her sons are doing okay. \u2026 They are getting to know him now. Megan\u2019s sons are her number one priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For now our money is on the couple NOT being engaged. If they were, we\u2019d probably hear all about it, right? Of course, MGK\u2019s Saturday Night Live<\/em> debut would be a pretty public place to make that official\u2026 Guess we\u2019ll have to tune in this weekend just in case!<\/p>\n
