Could it be?<\/p>\n

A mysterious light cluster was spotted\u00a0in the night sky near Charlotte,\u00a0NC, over the weekend, leading to a\u00a0debate on social media<\/a> over the possible presence of\u00a0UFOs\u00a0in the area, according to a report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The strange lights were seen floating over the state\u2019s Indian Trail community and subsequently posted\u00a0on the \u201cWhat\u2019s Up Indian Trail?\u201d community Facebook page.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone know what these lights were tonight?\u201d Alisa Homewood remarked, according to The Charlotte Observer.\u00a0\u201cNo sound at all. They flickered like lanterns, but followed the same exact path up until they disapp<\/a>eared which was odd.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy initial thought when I saw the lights was it was the helicopters in the distance, but as the lights got closer there was no sound. Then they went straight up into the sky and disappeared. No smoke, no debris,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

A few hundred people have since reacted to her post on the community page, offering different opinions for the\u00a0odd phenomenon, ranging from UFOs to a SpaceX rocket, according to the\u00a0paper<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of her photos captured a glowing trio of blue lights, which Homewood apparently could not explain.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe blue light I didn\u2019t notice until after I took the pictures. In the sky it did not look blue, it looked like a group of bright lights,\u201d she said, according to Charlotte Observer reporter, Mark Price. \u201cI thought it was odd though, that a few people have seen and photographed that same blue-ish grouping of lights.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sighting comes as the CIA\u2019s recently decided to\u00a0declassify more than three decades<\/a>\u00a0worth of\u00a0UFO\u00a0documents, which one expert called a \u201creal-life X-Files.\u201d\u00a02020 was also arguably\u00a0the\u00a0best year ever<\/a>\u00a0for UFO coverage.\n <\/div>\n
