Yay!<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t know a ton about the specifics of the birth, but\u00a0<em>E! <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a><\/em> is reporting that the baby did join us here in the world at some point on Saturday. And yes, the child\u2019s father and Vanessa\u2019s estranged husband\u00a0<strong>Michael Kopech<\/strong> was reportedly on hand for the birth, as well.<\/p>\n<p>The father, <strong>Chicago W<\/strong><strong>hite Sox<\/strong> baseball player Michael Kopech, has been absent from the picture since filing for divorce a few days after the actresses\u2019 pregnancy announcement in July. The couple had only been married for 5 months.<\/p>\n<p>Though never acknowledging the divorce publicly, the <em>Riverdale<\/em> icon did share the gender reveal on <strong>Instagram<\/strong> shortly after, gushing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cExciting news\u2026 I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January. This little guy has already brought me so much h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>iness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. While this has been incredible for me, I am very much looking forward to giving this little guy some room to grow up outside of the public eye, until he tells me otherwise. Sadly, the comments section was later flooded with negativity about the soon-to-be mom\u2019s love troubles leading her co-star <strong>Madelaine Petsch<\/strong>, who plays romantic interest Cheryl Blossom in the <em>Archie<\/em> comic remake,\u00a0to set fans straight, responding:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201chonestly if I see one more comment like this I\u2019ll lose it.
