It\u2019s quite another to put his gonads on the line.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCousin Sal\u201d Iacono \u2014 best known for his <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earances on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!,\u201d hosted by his actual cousin Jimmy \u2014 falls into the gonad-imperiling category.<\/p>\n<p>During a 2017 episode of his <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CousinSalsSureThing\/videos\/732915390199936\">\u201cCousin Sal\u2019s Sure Thing,\u201d<\/a> a video <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> in which he gave out football betting picks on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>, Iacono, also a \u201cKimmel\u201d writer, was so confident about his prediction of the NFL Seattle Seahawks defeating the Atlanta Falcons, he added a sweetener.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said that if I was wrong, I\u2019d be willing to get punched in the nuts by [my pal] Johnny Knoxville,\u201d Iacono, 49, and a married father of three, told The Post. \u201cBut moments later, Johnny jumped the gun. He slugged me in the groin long before the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> even started.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-amazon\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"You Can't Lose Them All: Tales of a Degenerate Gambler and His Ridiculous Friends\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"618\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" style=\"max-width:100%\" src=\"https:\/\/read.amazon.com\/kp\/card?preview=inline&amp;linkCode=kpd&amp;ref_=k4w_oembed_EGa67Ih3KYjaWf&amp;asin=B0881XLB7X&amp;tag=kpembed-20\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Iacono doubled over in pain and breathlessly requested that Knoxville read the rest of his picks.<\/p>\n<p>That was not the only time that sports betting created physical danger for Iacono. As related in his new memoir, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/You-Cant-Lose-Them-All-ebook\/dp\/B0881XLB7X\/ref=sr_1_2?tag=pagesix-20\">\u201cYou Can\u2019t Lose Them All: Tales of a Degenerate Gambler and his Ridiculous Friends\u201d<\/a> (Twelve),\u00a0the former real-estate lawyer once got a wager going with some \u201cLive!\u201d office mates. The Los Angeles Lakers were playing the Boston Celtics for the 2010 NBA championship, and Iacono and two others wanted to find a trio willing to make a stupid bet against them: Whoever picks the losing side would undergo a cycle of steroids.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody would take the bet,\u201d said Iacono, a Brooklynite who now lives in LA. \u201cSo we came up with another idea. The three of us would get Botox injections in our foreheads if the finals went for the full seven games.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Some_celeb_pals_that_Sal_gambles_with\"><\/span>Some celeb pals that Sal gambles with:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!--If the slideshow is embedded in another post type add the inline wrapper --><\/p>\n<p>They lost and wanted to do the deed atop a moving double-decker bus. \u201cBut the doctor administering the shots said it could be bad if we hit a pothole\u201d \u2014 potentially causing the needle to go awry and result in blindness. \u201cInstead, we did it on the roof of a building. We wanted to put it on the [Kimmel] show but a lawyer went crazy. He added, \u2018You \u00adidiots did this for nothing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes Iacono\u2019s gambling losses are monetary and physical. Such was the case when he, superstar chef David Chang and sports analyst Bill Simmons gambled after a meal at Chang\u2019s Momofuku restaurant in Las Vegas. After they lost thousands at blackjack, Chang suggested trying their luck at craps.<\/p>\n<p>But there was one wrinkle: Chang likes to bet what is known as the \u201cdon\u2019t pass line,\u201d in which you wager on the house to win and fellow players to lose. Iacono and Simmons played like Chang plays. \u201cPeople get mad when you root for them to lose,\u201d said Iacono. \u201cThis one guy was so angry that he started whipping the dice at us. We left the table with welts. The next couple of days, Hamm was, like, \u2018I don\u2019t need you losers.\u2019\u201d By the next season, he rejoined.<\/p>\n<p>Iacono will wager on most anything. He has bet with Adam Corolla on \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d outcomes and lost a wager that Pete Townshend would smash his guitar when The Who played the 2010 Super Bowl halftime show. Iacono picked \u201cLa La Land\u201d \u2014 which was first incorrectly called the winner.
