Illinois nurses gave a husband and wife who are both hospitalized with COVID-19 a special gift this week \u2014 a date night, complete with dinner.<\/p>\n

Frank Martinez, 93, and Masako \u201cTerry\u201d Martinez, 86, were both being treated in separate areas at St. Elizabeth\u2019s Hospital in O\u2019Fallon, Ill, KMOV reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Family members said the couple, who had been married for 63 years, are inseparable and very dependent on each other.<\/p>\n

So their nurses, Hannah Schlemer and Kim Presson, arranged a date night for the couple on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey were able to see each other, hold hands and eat together for the evening. Just as they have done for so many years,\u201d the hospital said in a Facebook post<\/a>. <\/p>\n
