The Issue: AG Letitia James\u2019 finding that the Cuomo administration undercounted nursing-home deaths.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gov. Cuomo called to account? \u201cFinally,\u201d says Janice Dean (\u201cFinally, this gov is called to task,\u201d Jan. 29), and she\u2019s dead right.<\/p>\n

Pity it took so long. Did no one see that he was wrecking the state with Buffalo Billion and other spendthrift failures? Or note that he shut down the ethics commission he himself created as soon as it looked at his own dealings?<\/p>\n

Now, finally, some eyebrows are raised, but only after his eldercide killed thousands of seniors and his cynical attempt to pin the blame first on President Donald Trump, then on nursing home staffers. This is bad news<\/a> for Cuomo.<\/p>\n

Cuomo and his sycophant brother laughed it up during the horrors that were brought on by the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n

They talked about their mother\u2019s meatballs, as if no one else in the world had a mother. Their indifference was obvious.<\/p>\n

Well, thousands of mothers died in nursing homes. They had families that loved them, too. All we saw from the Cuo\u00admo brothers was gratuitous self-aggrandizement. Shame on them both. <\/p>\n

Cuomo writing a book to glorify himself and app<\/a>earing on his boot-licking brother\u2019s cable show were conscious efforts to cover up his responsibility for the thousands of nursing home deaths.<\/p>\n

With a hospital ship at his disposal to house infected patients, Cuomo chose instead to send sick people back to nursing homes, thus triggering a super-spreading domino event. Then he revealed his loathsome character by blaming \u00adeveryone but himself.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m still waiting for this tough-guy wannabe to send his own mother to a nursing home. But that won\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n

Now that the truth behind the careless killing of thousands in nursing homes due to Cuomo\u2019s reckless behavior is finally getting revealed, is there any chance that the la-la liberals in charge will revoke his Emmy Award? Probably not.<\/p>\n

And it will be equally implausible that the downstate voters will do anything except reward the criminal and his cohorts by foisting Democratic regimes on the state for the foreseeable future. So let the blood be on their hands.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a miracle my mother survived the coronavirus after the governor sent recovering patients to nursing homes.<\/p>\n

There is only one reason he sacrificed thousands of elderly: He resented the federal assistance in the form of the hospital ship and the military at the Javits Center.<\/p>\n

Instead of dispatching patients there, he \u00adneglected the federal facilities.<\/p>\n

Cuomo blames the abominable COVID response on \u201cincompetent government\u201d in his obvious attempt to deflect the blame for his own sins against humanity.<\/p>\n

When we talk about the deaths of thousands in nursing homes across New York state, though, there is only one description: mass murder. And that\u2019s on him.<\/p>\n

His arrogance and self-given praise for his handling of the pandemic, without acknowledging what he did, speaks to the fact that there is no way he should be governor or in any position where he could potentially kill more people. He needs to go. <\/p>\n

It seems to me that the reason Cuomo withheld the true count of COVID deaths in nursing homes was political, all to make Trump look weak on his COVID response.<\/p>\n

Thanks to The Post for shining a light on this. Maybe the families who lost loved ones can now find some peace.<\/p>\n

I can remember a time not too long ago when leaders took responsibility for their decisions, didn\u2019t deflect blame onto others, admitted when they failed and did the honorable thing by resigning when warranted.<\/p>\n
