The homeless man who calls himself the \u201cSon of God Lord Saviour Jesus Christ,\u201d and has taken up residence in Washington Square Park\u2019s fountain, stripped naked for a cooling shower in the rain on Saturday.<\/p>\n

While stunned parkgoers gawked, city officials once again looked the other way.<\/p>\n

Cops and city Parks Department workers have kept their distance all week from Matthew Mishefski and his new home inside the Greenwich Village landmark.<\/p>\n

But the hands-off app<\/a>roach seems to have emboldened Mishefski\u2019s clothes-off philosophy.<\/p>\n

The shower scene occurred as demonstrators gathered at a Black Lives Matter rally just beyond the fountain.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, he munched on an apple and donned a sarong, remaining shirtless.<\/p>\n

Then he walked on the fountain\u2019s rim, but didn\u2019t make it all around because a Black Lives Matter organizer stopped him from passing by the stage.<\/p>\n

Mishefski has continued squatting despite visits from numerous NYPD officers, Parks Department employees and homeless-outreach coordinators who have done little about his presence, The Post reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cBulls-\u2013t,\u201d Mishefski said when asked what support the homeless services outreach workers offered him.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old from the Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania says he\u2019s autistic and has spent time in psych wards.<\/p>\n

He has been squatting at the drained fountain since May, in a makeshift home that now includes a table, six chairs, a pink recliner, a box of clothes and a beach umbrella.<\/p>\n
