\nBlake Lively<\/strong> opened up about her post-pregnancy body struggles!<\/p>\n

In an relatable post on her Instagram Story<\/strong> Friday, the 33-year-old actress got real about feeling insecure after she had her third daughter, Betty<\/strong>, in October of 2019. Posting a photo of herself from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, she revealed some of the difficulties she had with find clothing that actually fit her body after giving birth, writing:<\/p>\n

\u201cI put together a @lanvinofficial shirt and dress from @netaporter to make this pretty outfit. Because no one had samples that fit me after giving birth. And so many clothes from stores didn\u2019t fit either. So. Many.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She continued the candid post, explaining:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t send a great message to women when their bodies don\u2019t fit into what brands have to offer. It\u2019s alienating and confusing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That is for sure! The struggle can be real sometimes when it comes to finding clothes!<\/p>\n

The Gossip Girl<\/em> alum, who also shares daughters James<\/strong>, 6, and Inez<\/strong>, 4, with her hubby Ryan Reynolds<\/strong>, went on to confess how she wished she had been more confident instead of feeling so insecure in her postpartum body.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I wish I felt as confident then as I do now, a year later looking back. That body gave me a baby. And was producing that baby\u2019s entire food supply. What a beautiful miracle. But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Simply because I didn\u2019t fit into clothes. How silly is that in retrospect.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In the conclusion of her emotional post, she took a moment to praise Megababe<\/strong> founder Katie Sturino<\/strong> and other designers who are \u201cchallenging brands to do better, helping women to not feel alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, Blake received a ton of supportive comments from her fans and other notable celebs like Sophie Turner<\/strong>. The new momma, who gave birth to her first child Willa Jonas <\/strong>back in July, gave the starlet a shout out on her Insta, writing:<\/p>\n

\u201cYes Blake Lively one more time for the people in the back!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And, she also said the momma-of-three was, \u201cNot a Queen, a Khaleesi,\u201d on her picture.<\/p>\n

During that same interview with Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> last January, the momma-of-three actually opened up about her third child, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cI sure did [have another baby]. I have so many children! Yeah, it\u2019s a bit of a tough adjustment in our house, but it\u2019s good. I have two other daughters so my oldest is very into the baby, but my middle child not so much, but we\u2019re thinking of keeping her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Luckily, her middle child eventually came around to the little one.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then I said to her, I said, \u2018you know, you\u2019re going to teach her everything she knows. You get to teach her about cities and the sky and flowers and Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse, anything you want.\u2019 And she goes, \u2018oh, I didn\u2019t love you, but now I do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
