\n Two men were arrested in Manhattan Saturday for allegedly possessing a heap of illegal fireworks, the FDNY said.<\/p>\n

The confiscated packages were emblazoned with names including \u201cAmerican Badass\u201d and \u201cUproar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fire Marshals nabbed Anthony Quezada, 28, and Hugo Figueroa, 30, <\/span>during an investigation into the aural mayhem that has plagued Gotham streets nightly this month.<\/p>\n

Quezada and Figueroa are charged with reckless endangerment and the unlawful dealing of fireworks, the department said.<\/p>\n

Photos released by the FDNY showed dozens of boxes of explosives in the back of a vehicle. The cache was app<\/a>arently valued at $4,500, officials said.<\/p>\n

Two men were arrested on Staten Island Tuesday for allegedly possessing a $6,000 trove of illegal fireworks, the FDNY said.<\/p>\n

Disgusted drivers honked their car horns near Gracie Mansion Monday night to send Mayor Bill de Blasio a message regarding the pyrotechnic outlaws.<\/p>\n

The following day, the mayor announced the formation of a task force \u2014 that doesn\u2019t target the pyromaniacs \u2014 but focuses on suppliers and distributors of fireworks.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0whopping 8,967 gripes about the fiery racket were reported to the city\u2019s 311 system from June 1 through June 21, compared to just 28 recorded the previous year.<\/p>\n

The FDNY urges all New Yorkers to call 311 to anonymously report the use, delivery or sale of fireworks. If you see something dangerous, call 911.<\/span>\n <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
