\n A Massachusetts husband and wife who had recently broken up were reportedly found dead Saturday in an apparent murder-suicide.<\/p>\n

State police are investigating the deaths of Amber Pereira, 30, and Joshua Pereira, 31.<\/p>\n

A relative of Amber\u2019s had called 911 when she discovered the pair\u2019s bodies in their Somerset home around 8:05 a.m. Saturday, the local CBS affiliate reported.<\/p>\n

Police arrived to find the two dead of apparent gunshot wounds. A gun was underneath Joshua, in what the Bristol County District Attorney\u2019s office described as an \u201capparent murder-suicide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Officials said Joshua had recently moved out of the home after the couple had separated, but had driven back to the residence sometime before 8 a.m., according to the station.<\/p>\n

Witnesses heard multiple gunshots coming from inside the home shortly after his arrival, according to the DA\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Investigators don\u2019t believe anyone else was in the home besides the couple at the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n

Further details were not immedia<\/a>tely clear and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

The state medical examiner\u2019s office will conduct autopsies to determine the couple\u2019s official cause of death.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
