And that means Matt had to ditch the women that were only there to stir the pot \u2014 Anna and Victoria. They finally got their comeuppance for starting a horrid and vile rumor. Their airtime \u2014 and mentions in this column \u2014 are officially over, I hope. <\/p>\n<p>Our boy also had two women tell him they\u2019re \u201cfalling in love with him.\u201d I think it\u2019s a little early for that, but as long as you\u2019re not lying about another woman being an escort, be my guest.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to Week 5 on \u201cThe Bachelor.\u201d <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_cocktail_party\"><\/span>The cocktail party<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This wasn\u2019t so much of a party as it was an exorcism. After Katie tipped Matt off that Anna spread a rumor that Brittany was an escort, he was determined to get to the bottom of the drama. \u201cIf you have to belittle someone else to let you shine, that\u2019s not the characteristics I\u2019m looking for in my life,\u201d he told the women, before starting an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>First, he took Brittany aside. She instantly broke down in tears. \u201cMy mom watches this show, this could ruin my entire life,\u201d she told Matt, shaken by the way she\u2019s been treated. The Bachelor consoled her, and then went to find Anna. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said something rude about Brittany. The fact that that bites me in the butt now?\u201d said Anna, failing to acknowledge the consequences of her actions. She apologized, but Matt told her plain and simple that he needs to make a safe space for all the women, and her words caused pain. He sent her home. <\/p>\n<p>Next, he pulled Ryan aside, who spoke about her unfortunate interactions with Victoria, the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arent house bully who called Ryan a hoe, and shot her down for not being one of the original cast members. Matt was angry. Even though it was staring him in the face, he never noticed this side of Queen V before. <\/p>\n<p>When he confronted Victoria about the takedown, she said her words were \u201ctaken out of context.\u201d \u201cWhat context would calling somebody a hoe be taken in?\u201d he retorted.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, she got sent home too. She got to take home bags of dresses and gowns and wonderful shiny things. He gave her a Cinderella moment, slipping a red-bottomed Louboutin sandal on her feet. <\/p>\n<p>Over dinner, Rachael talked to Matt about how insecure she\u2019s been in past relationships, and how it\u2019s difficult for her to open up. \u201cI really am already completely falling in love with you, I want to walk out of here with you and I want to start my life with you,\u201d she revealed. \u201cYou\u2019re not crazy, because I feel the same way,\u201d he said back. In true Pennsylvania fashion, they got down and dirty on a farm. There was lots of mudslinging and chicken holding. <\/p>\n<p>At the after party, Matt and Chelsea kissed after he told her \u201che\u2019s really happy she\u2019s here.\u201d Abigail, who got the first-impression rose, spoke to Matt about her family troubles, and how her children may one day be deaf like herself. Michelle also got a kiss. \u201cI feel what you\u2019re feeling,\u201d he told her. <\/p>\n<p>Matt pulled MJ aside to let her know that some women had called her divisive. She denied it, and called out the rest of the women on the date to fess up. Jessenia stood up, and told MJ she made other women feel uncomfortable for making fun of the new girls. Katie backed her up, and MJ deflected, big time. <\/p>\n<p>The date rose went to Abigail. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_second_one-on-one\"><\/span>The second one-on-one<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Young\u2019un Kit Keenan was asked over to Matt\u2019s for dinner. She had told him that her happy place was in the kitchen with her mom (designer Cynthia Rowley), and was brought to tears that he remembered. <\/p>\n<p>The lovers whipped up some chocolate chip cookies in between kissing. Kit spoke to him about how tough it was for her to grow up in the public eye and the difficulty she has letting her walls down. She also said that she\u2019s falling in love with Matt \u2014 though he didn\u2019t say it back like he did to Rachael. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_cocktail_party-2\"><\/span>The cocktail party<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Matt sent a note asking Jessenia and MJ to come early, wondering what \u201cthe truth\u201d is about the drama in the house. <\/p>\n<p>Before Matt showed up, the two of them went at it. Jessenia pointed out that MJ derisively coined the terms \u201cJV\u201d and \u201cvarsity\u201d about the women in the house, and accused her of putting on different personalities on camera versus with Matt), MJ lied through her teeth (that she\u2019s all about peace and harmony). We\u2019ll see what Matt thinks next week.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Prediction\"><\/span>Prediction<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Matt is a bad judge of character. I bet he sends them both home for being involved.
