Thanks to PowerToys, it\u2019s easy to remap any key to another key or even a shortcut combination on your keyboard. Here\u2019s how to set it up.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Secret_Is_PowerToys\"><\/span>The Secret Is PowerToys<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the past, remapping keys in Windows 10 required a difficult-to-use third-party program. Today, Microsoft makes it easy with PowerToys, a free utility available for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download<\/a> online. Using PowerToys, you can make any key on your keyboard act like any other key\u2014and even remap shortcuts.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t already have PowerToys installed, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/microsoft\/PowerToys\/releases\/\">download it for free<\/a> from Github. After you install it, launch PowerToys Settings, then click \u201cKeyboard Manager\u201d in the sidebar. For a single key, you can either choose it from the drop-down menu or click the \u201cType\u201d button, then press it on your keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to use a shortcut key combination, press the \u201cType\u201d button, then press the combination on your keyboard. When you\u2019re done, close PowerToys Settings completely, and your remapped key (or keys) will remain in effect. Use them as much as you\u2019d like. You can always go back and adjust your mappings later if necessary.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Remove_the_New_Key_Mapping\"><\/span>How to Remove the New Key Mapping<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Later on, if you want to remove the custom mapping you made, relaunch Power Toys Settings, then click \u201cKeyboard Manager\u201d and \u201cRemap a key\u201d again.
