The fantasy-themed experience park, which opened to the public in September 2018, has stated that Swift\u2019s late-2020 release of an album titled <i>Evermore<\/i> has resulted in confusion among guests, an impacted Google search rating, and more. Per court documents Pitchfork has viewed, the park seeks \u201cmillions\u201d in damages, as well as legal fees. The park also claims that Swift\u2019s <i>Evermore<\/i> merchandise range infringes on the park\u2019s merchandise range. The court documents also contain a statement from Evermore\u2019s human resources manager claiming guests have believed the park to be a collaboration between Swift and the park, and images of merchandise that Swift\u2019s album title supposedly infringes upon. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Swift\u2019s team denies any infringement has ever occurred. \u201cIt is inconceivable that there is any likelihood of confusion between your client\u2019s theme park and related products and Ms Swift\u2019s music and related products,\u201d the letter reads, making note of the fact that certain merchandise items, including \u201csmall dragon eggs, guild patches, and a small dragon mount\u201d bear no similarity to Swift\u2019s <i>Evermore<\/i> product line.
