President Joe Biden\u2019s \u201cshould not be used in connection with any commercial activities to suggest, or in any way that could reasonably [be] understood to imply, his endorsement or support\u201d: So one White House official told the press on background last month. But it seems some Bidens didn\u2019t get the memo.<\/p>\n

Biden\u2019s brothers Jim and Frank have been trading on the family name for decades, with son Hunter joining in more recently \u2014 cashing in on their presumed ability to get favors from Joe. And it hasn\u2019t stopped.<\/p>\n

Frank Biden app<\/a>eared in a Florida law firm ad \u2014 on Inauguration Day, no less \u2014 using the president\u2019s name to draw attention to the Berman Law Group\u2019s class-action suit against sugar cane growers: \u201cThe two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront,\u201d the ad pointedly claimed.<\/p>\n

And Hunter\u2019s newest endeavor is a memoir on his struggle with addiction, \u201cBeautiful Things,\u201d due out April 6. The president is painting it as a personal triumph for his son \u2014 \u201cMy boy\u2019s back,\u201d he cried to CBS\u2019 Nora O\u2019Donnell \u2014 but would any book company publish this memoir (and reportedly pay big bucks for it) if Hunter\u2019s father wasn\u2019t president?\n <\/p><\/div>\n
