Is a buyer\u2019s market better than a booty call?<\/p>\n

A new \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d skit<\/a> lampooning 30-somethings who seek pleasure by browsing Zillow\u2019s real estate listings has hit a nerve on social media. <\/p>\n

The pre-produced sketch from the show\u2019s Saturday episode starts off with a parody of a suggestive infomercial, as cast members writhe around on beds and couches under soft lighting.<\/p>\n

Sultry voiceovers are heard asking, \u201cAre you bored?\u201d \u201cLooking for something to spice up your life?\u201d \u201cYou used to want sex but you\u2019re in your late 30\u2019s now,\u201d \u201cand sex isn\u2019t really doing it for me anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need something new,\u201d \u201cThen you need Zillow.com\u201d<\/p>\n

The skit then reveals that the tortured actors are lusting after lascivious real estate listings, not pornography.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn updated Colonial, with mature landscaping,\u201d cast member Alex Moffat groans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to flip that,\u201d cast member Mikey Day declares.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d never want to live in North Carolina, but if I did I could buy a big gross mansion,\u201d guest host Dan Levy moans while looking at a listing for a $427,000 McMansion with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pleasure you once got from sex now comes from looking at other people\u2019s houses,\u201d a voiceover continues.<\/p>\n

The suggestive skit takes an abrupt turn when Day calls a real estate broker and the brash agent\u2019s no-nonsense sales pitch quickly kills the mood.<\/p>\n

The fake commercial was a big hit on Twitter, where it garnered nearly 50 thousand likes and hundreds of comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cBahhahahah I\u2019m in my 30s and I was up late on Zillow last night!!!! This is on point,\u201d tweeted one user.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow dare SNL attack us with that Zillow commercial!\u201d joked another<\/a> popular response. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo, what if I told yall I kinda have been seeing\u2026oh, idk, someone else?. Their name is @realtordotcom,\u201d posted another.<\/p>\n

Comedian Ted Alexandro accused SNL of stealing his joke, posting a bit<\/a> he performed at the Comedy Cellar about real estate fantasies.<\/p>\n

But Zillow was happ<\/a>y to soak up the amorous attention, tweeting<\/a>: \u201cYeah football is great, but have you ever gone on Zillow?\u201d\n <\/div>\n
