“#Devont\u00e9 Hynes Joins NYU\u2019s Clive Davis Institute as Spring 2021 Artist-in-Residence<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Devont\u00e9 Hynes (aka Blood Orange) will join NYU\u2019s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music as their Spring 2021 Artist-in-Residence. The residency kicks off Monday (February 22) at 9 p.m. Eastern, when Hynes will host a virtual Q&A moderated by Chair of the Clive Davis Institute, Jason King. The conversation will touch on Hynes\u2019 career, artistic process, and more. You can RSVP for the free, public event here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the residency, Hynes will mentor students throughout the spring semester, hosting workshops and talks discussing his body of work and breaking down his compositions. \u201cI\u2019m excited to meet students, witness their creative process, and see how I can be of assistance to them,\u201d Hynes said in a press release. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be as much of a learning experience for me as it is for them and I\u2019m really looking forward to it.\u201d<\/p>\n
