For most people this is no problem, but sometimes you might not want others to hear the audio. Luckily, it\u2019s easy to disable the sound on a Live Photo before sharing. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<p>First, open the \u201cPhotos\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> on your iPhone. Navigate to the Live Photo that includes the audio you\u2019d like to remove. Tap the yellow speaker icon in the upper-left corner of the screen. This disables the audio playback for this particular Live Photo.<\/p>\n<p>(If the speaker icon is grey with a strike through it, the audio is already disabled.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-705247\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/tap_speaker_icon.jpg\" alt=\"Tap the speaker icon in the upper-left corner of the screen to disable the Live Photo audio.\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" onload=\"pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\" onerror=\"this.onerror=null;pagespeed.lazyLoadImages.loadIfVisibleAndMaybeBeacon(this);\"\/><\/p>\n<p>After you tap the yellow speaker icon, the icon will change to a grey speaker icon with a strike through it, showing you that the audio for the Live Photo has been disabled. And, when you share it, the sound portion of the Live Photo will not be included.<\/p>\n<p>Even though you have disabled the audio for that particular photo, your iPhone keeps a copy of the original Live Photo with the audio included in case you change your mind. So if you need to get the sound back, open \u201cPhotos,\u201d tap the photo again, enter \u201cEdit Mode,\u201d tap the \u201cLive Photo\u201d icon, and toggle the speaker button back on.
