\nBachelor<\/em> star Katie Thurston<\/strong> is keeping her social media<\/a> 100% free of toxicity.<\/p>\n

The reality star took to Instagram<\/strong> to remind her followers that negative and nasty comments will not be tolerated on her page \u2014 whether the comments are directed at her OR one of her fans.<\/p>\n

The marketing manager made an example of one hurtful bully who app<\/a>arently body-shamed another user in her comments section. The IG user wrote in part:<\/p>\n

\u201cHoney you big everywhere from your face all the way down to your feet. I sincerely hope that when the gyms reopen, you\u2019re the first one to pop back in\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ugh. So unnecessary! Thankfully, Katie made it clear she\u2019s not willing to put up with this type of hateful energy. Sharing a screengrab of the message and captioning her post on Instagram Stories, she wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t get to come on my page and body shame any of my people. Immediate block.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Preach!<\/p>\n

While the 29-year-old was sent home by Matt James<\/strong> in the February 8 episode of the dating series<\/a>, she\u2019s become a fan favorite in her time on the show.\u00a0Bachelor Nation devotees fell in love with Katie after she called out the women she and other Bachelor<\/em> contestants described as bullies and was a whistleblower after Anna Redman<\/strong> spread a rumor that Brittany Galvin<\/b> was an escort.<\/p>\n

In fact, Katie\u2019s become such a fan fave that she\u2019s rumored to already have been chosen to be the next Bachelorette! On Saturday, February 6, Bachelor Nation expert Reality Steve<\/b> shared a \u201cspoiler\u201d about the series on Twitter, writing:<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the Women Tell All taping this past Thursday, Katie Thurston was announced as the next Bachelorette\u2026 Katie gets eliminated on Monday\u2019s episode during her 1-on-1 with Matt.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But don\u2019t get too excited just yet, BN fans. Chris Harrison<\/strong> recently shut down the casting rumors, revealing that Katie has not been named the new lead of the franchise.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Rachel Lindsay<\/strong> for Extra<\/em> on Tuesday, the host of the ABC series said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did not name her or anybody the next Bachelorette during the Women Tell All<\/i> special. In fact, we didn\u2019t even talk who was the next Bachelorette. As far as I know, Katie, nobody has been named the next Bachelorette \u2026 and I promise you this, it will not be a part of the Tell All<\/i> special at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Chris noted that Katie will be featured on the special, but insisted the topic of becoming the next Bachelorette didn\u2019t come up. He recalled:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was in the hot seat, as were several other women. I didn\u2019t even ask her if she wanted to be the Bachelorette or even if she wanted to do that\u2026 There\u2019s a large debate still going [about who will be the next Bachelorette].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For her part, Katie also shut down the rumors with a post on her IG Stories, writing:<\/p>\n

\u201cReading my text this morning like \u2026 News<\/a> to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, that settles that\u2026 for now, at least!<\/p>\n

While Katie\u2019s future on the franchise is still up in the air, we\u2019re glad she\u2019s made it clear what won\u2019t be tolerated on her social media pages.<\/p>\n
