The company faced backlash a few days ago as alleged \u2018drifting issues\u2019 forced many people to take the matter to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=ps5%20drift&amp;src=typed_query\">social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reported first on Tuesday by the same, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/kotaku.com\/ps5-controllers-are-drifting-and-the-repairs-are-a-has-1846233739?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=SocialMarketing&amp;utm_campaign=dlvrit&amp;utm_content=kotaku\">Kotaku<\/a> had tried to reach out to Sony customer services and after a grueling wait, when they had finally found a representative, they were told that the DualSense drift was covered under warranty but the cost of transportation of the device to the repair centre has to be borne by the owner.<\/p>\n<p>Now, US based legal firm, Chimicles Schwartz Kriner &amp; Donaldson-Smith, the company responsible for bringing a class-action law suit against Nintendo in 2019 for similar issues in its Joy-Con controller, a part of its flagship product \u2014 the Nintendo Switch,\u00a0has released a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/chimicles.com\/sony-ps5-dualsense-controller-drift-class-action-investigation\/\">class-action investigation portal<\/a>, reports <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2021-02-10-law-firm-investigates-potential-class-action-over-ps5-dualsense-drift\">EuroGamer<\/a>, through its website and has asked DualSense users who are facing similar issues to contact them.<\/p>\n<p>Given the prevailing circumstances, it may be <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ropriate to conclude that Chimicles Schwartz Kriner &amp; Donaldson-Smith may be actively considering bringing similar charges against Sony.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft was also thrown under a microscope last year for \u2018drift issues\u2019 in its new Xbox One Elite <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Series<\/a> 2 controllers.
