The PC open beta for Magic: Legends<\/em> previously announced as due out on March 23 will be available via the Epic Games Store<\/a> in addition to Arc Games<\/a>, publisher Perfect World Entertainment and developer Cryptic Studios announced during the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase. Both versions will connect to the same servers. <\/span><\/p>\n
Users who play Magic: Legends<\/em> via the Epic Games Store will be able to claim the \u201cEpic Planeswalker Starter Pack\u201d for free through April 6 at 9:00 a.m. PT \/ 12:00 p.m. ET., which unlocks a \u201cMoorland Ranger Costume,\u201d \u201cMoorland Ranger Werewolf Summon Skin,\u201d and two drop boosts (increases the drop rate of rewards for 30 minutes of play in either instanced or overworld content).<\/p>\n

Here is a closer look at the first two classes announced for Magic: Legends<\/em>:<\/p>\n

The Geomancer<\/strong> draws upon the power of the Earth to pummel enemies in close quarters with devastating stone and lava attacks. They are capable of absorbing blows that would otherwise incapacitate other Planeswalkers with their rock shield. Geomancers prefer to call upon creatures like goblins, kavu and earth elementals.<\/li>\n
The Mind Mage<\/strong> personifies cool intellect. As a Planeswalker that focuses on psychic powers, they can battle enemies from a safe distance, controlling projectiles with telekinetic powers, and lock down dangerous foes with spells that put them to sleep, or turn them against their allies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The full launch of Magic: Legends<\/em> is planned for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2021.<\/p>\n
