Here\u2019s how to remove people\u2019s avatars from your direct message list.<\/p>\n<p>Before Slack added profile pictures to the list of users in your DMs, the list just showed names and a circle that indicated whether the user was online. (The setting isn\u2019t available on the mobile for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.Slack&amp;hl=en_US&amp;gl=US\">Android<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/slack\/id618783545\">iPhone<\/a>, or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/slack\/id618783545\">iPad<\/a>.)
