Employees at Queen\u2019s Scottish vacation home are raising a stink over op-poo-turnistic pedestrians using the royal retreat\u2019s grounds as a toilet. The excremental desecration comes amid coronavirus reopening measures that allow UK citizens out and about while public bathrooms remain shuttered.<\/p>\n

\u201cDisapp<\/a>ointed to see so many wipes discarded on the Estate today,\u201d Tweeted a staffer at Balmoral Castle, a sprawling 50,000 acre property in Scotland where her highness spends several weeks a year, reports CNN. They added that \u201cpeople are choosing to relieve themselves right next to busy paths or monuments rather than move a little bit further away to avoid contamination.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the scat bandits likely aren\u2019t crapping on the Queen\u2019s castle for s\u2013ts and giggles. The estate employee noted that \u201cthere are no public toilets open for miles around at the moment,\u201d referencing coronavirus-sparked closures that have left pedestrians with few public places to pop a squat.<\/p>\n

The staffer even took sympathy on their plight, tweeting \u201cif you need to pee, please do so at least 30 metres from lochs or streams. Meanwhile, prospective poopers are urged to do their business \u201cas far away as possible from buildings, paths, water courses and farm animals\u201d and to \u201cbury [feces] in a shallow hole and replace the turf,\u201d per a subsequent Tweet.<\/p>\n

Doing so really could save the queen, too. Researchers have found that the coronavirus can spread through fecal-oral transmission.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the staffer\u2019s advice was immediately dumped on by the social media<\/a> legions. \u201cSo how about opening the toilets, that will solve your problem,\u201d scoffed one critic.\u00a0<\/p>\n
