Police conducting a traffic stop in the Bronx opened fire when the vehicle fled, briefly dragging an officer, police and sources said. <\/p>\n

Nobody app<\/a>eared to be struck by gunfire, police said, in the shooting at about 6:30 p.m. near East 167th Street and Walton Avenue. <\/p>\n

At least one officer opened fire during the car stop gone bad. <\/p>\n

Sources said multiple shots were fired and police placed six evidence markers in the intersection. <\/p>\n

An officer was taken to an area hospital with a hand laceration. <\/p>\n

The suspect fled in a grey Dodge Charger, which was still being sought late Tuesday.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
