The 37-year-old Russian dancer is advocating for the US dance competition series<\/a> to include same-sex pairs \u2014 as the Australian and the UK versions have.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast season when Johnny Weir got on the show I was like, \u2018Johnny, you HAVE to be my partner,\u2019 but they ended up not doing it,\u201d the \u201cDWTS\u201d pro dancer told Mr. Warburton<\/a> magazine. <\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, there is a strong male\/female dynamic in dance, but if you have two men doing the same thing it would look awesome and be so fascinating,\u201d he continued. \u201cI would love to do it, but it would have to be with the right partner.\u201d<\/p>\n
