But let me just say, if we change our investment policy on Bitcoin, Julia, you will be the first or at least the second to know.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bitcoin&#8217;s market capitalization is inching higher to overtake some of the largest American companies. As previously reported, Bitcoin market cap surpassed Tesla\u2019s at around $808 billion shortly after the company announced its massive Bitcoin investment.<\/p>\n<p>Following Bitcoin\u2019s historical move to hit above $51,000 on Feb. 17, 2021, Bitcoin\u2019s market capitalization stands at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/bitcoin\">$948 billion<\/a> at the time of writing. Bitcoin would need to double its market cap to reach Microsoft\u2019s, which amounts to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/NASDAQ-MSFT\/\">$1.8 billion<\/a> at publishing time.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-02\/196d606d-a260-4d92-983d-abb1f5743b7a.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Market capitalization of Bitcoin vs. major firms.
