But prosecutors swiftly <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ealed and, that night, a judge in DC, Chief Judge Beryl Howell, ruled he remain in jail.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was whisked away to a federal prison in Oklahoma and later moved to DC with others from around the country who have been charged over the Jan. 6 riot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Barnett waived his Miranda rights when the FBI interrogated him and spent his entire lifesavings of $25,000 on legal fees that did not save him from jail. An additional weapons charge was added, for a stun stick that he claims had no batteries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He fired his, lawyer and is currently unrepresented and broke.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Veteran New York criminal-defense lawyer Steven Metcalf, representing 25-year-old Jake Lang, who is facing federal riot charges, says he never has seen such heavy-handed treatment of defendants outside of \u201cinternational drug-kingpin clients.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lang also was transferred to DC in the dead of night without his lawyers being informed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is zero logical sense why they were transferred to DC,\u201d Metcalf said. \u201cAll the [court] proceedings are going to be virtually conducted [online] for the foreseeable future .\u2009.\u2009. Halpin, his cousin, has footage from his cellphone recorded as he entered the building, in a fast-moving crush of bodies. You can see his hand try to grab the door jamb as the crowd surges through.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe said he had no choice,\u201d says Halpin. \u201cYou either go in or you are trampled.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t until almost 20 minutes later that Barnett entered through the open door. He left after six minutes. Now he faces more than 10 years in prison.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty in this country. But every power structure has conspired to prejudge these people. The president and his <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> lapdogs have branded them \u201cwhite supremacists\u201d and \u201cdomestic terrorists.\u201d No one cares about them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The double standards are sickening. You can deplore the riot without sacrificing basic justice and fairness.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Vexed_Dems_hex_vax\"><\/span>Vexed\u00a0Dems\u00a0hex vax<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Mayor de Blasio complains that low COVID immunization rates in minority communities are due to \u201cprofound\u2019\u2019 racial inequity in the vaccine rollout. He also says these communities \u201cdistrust\u201d the vaccine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With impeccable logic, reader Vinny from Poughkeepsie points out the home truths: firstly, \u201can overwhelming majority\u201d of black people vote Democratic. Secondly, \u201cDemocrat leaders like de Blasio, Gov. Cuomo and VP Kamala Harris questioned for months the safety of any Trump vaccine.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ergo, why would anyone be surprised if Democratic voters don\u2019t trust the vaccine?<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Blas_bogus_brave_ride\"><\/span>Blas\u2019 bogus brave ride<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>De Blasio follies #2:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reader Pete from Staten Island was \u201ccompelled\u201d to write after seeing the mayor ride the A train to \u201cprove\u201d it is safe after four people were stabbed, two fatally, on the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne difference that he didn\u2019t realize, but New Yorkers have, is that the average NYC transit passenger does not have a police detail. If I had my own private guards, I\u2019d ride the train also \u2014 at all hours. However, we are now facing brutal crimes being committed at prime commuting time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe isn\u2019t fooling me. He isn\u2019t fooling anyone.
