Women are the superior sex \u2014 at least when it comes to this TikTok stunt. <\/p>\n

A TikTok balance challenge that men reportedly \u201ccan\u2019t do\u201d is taking social media<\/a> by storm \u2014 and resulting in some pretty hilarious pratfalls. A video of<\/a> the off-kilter experiment currently boasts 1.8 million views on the platform. <\/p>\n

Also dubbed the \u201cgravity\u201d challenge, the stunt requires participants to kneel on the floor with both elbows on the ground in front of them while cradling their chin in their hands to support the head. They then try to tuck their hands behind their backs, one at a time, while attempting to hold their bodies in the initial position without toppling over.<\/p>\n

Despite sounding rather frivolous, this experiment seems like astrophysics compared to some of the dumb and dangerous challenges circulating around TikTok. <\/p>\n

In the flagship clip of the feat, entitled \u201cApp<\/a>arently men have different centers of gravity,\u201d TikTok stars Jason and Rachel and can be seen competing to determine who can achieve the balancing act first. <\/p>\n

The battle of the sexes ends abruptly after Rachel assumes the position with yogi-like ease \u2014 while her male rival falls on his face. <\/p>\n

This outcome wasn\u2019t the outlier, either, as TikTok is teeming with videos depicting smug-looking fellas being literally brought back to earth by the faceplant-inducing exercise. <\/p>\n

One unsuccessful participant even captioned his video<\/a>, \u201cwhy MEN can\u2019t do this??\u201d <\/p>\n

Needless to say, amateur TikTok physicists had their own theories.<\/p>\n

\u201cHigher centers of gravity,\u201d postulated one commenter. \u201cIt\u2019s from body shape.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another theorized, \u201cIt\u2019s more to do with height than gender I think.\u201d<\/p>\n

Others thought that Rachel was cheating by leaning back. <\/p>\n

Women\u2019s superior centeredness was also on display in last year\u2019s viral chair challenge<\/a>, in which ladies also dominated their couch-moving counterparts.<\/p>\n

However, experts believe that the female success rate on challenges like these has to do with a discrepancy in mass distribution. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe center of mass for most girls is lower to the hips, while the center of mass in boys is much higher,\u201d explained UK science<\/a> teacher Jeremy Johnson in a blog post on gravity.<\/a>\n <\/div>\n
