Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja have announced Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection<\/em> for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch on June 10 worldwide. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection<\/em> includes remastered versions of Ninja Gaiden Sigma<\/em>, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2<\/em>, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor\u2019s Edge<\/em>, as well as most previously released download<\/a>able content.<\/p>\n

\u201cNinja Gaiden<\/em> is one of the most important and monumental titles for the Team Ninja brand, but we haven\u2019t been able to release the series<\/a> title on current generation platforms, so I am very delighted to be able to release it in this format as a trilogy,\u201d says Team Ninja chief head Yosuke Hayashi in a press release. \u201cIf you enjoy challenging action game<\/a>s, we hope you will give it a try.\u201d<\/p>\n

Team Ninja head Fumihiko Yasuda added, \u201cNinja Gaiden<\/em> is the origin of Team Ninja\u2019s action games, and I hope that not only fans of the series, but also fans of the Nioh series will play these games. I hope that the day will come soon when I can provide information about the next game in the Ninja Gaiden<\/em> series, which I\u2019ve been continuously saying that I want to develop, but until then, please play as the \u2018super ninja\u2019 Ryu Hayabusa in the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

he collection, slated to launch on June 10, 2021, will package the classic game Ninja Gaiden Sigma<\/em> alongside beloved titles NNinja Gaiden Sigma 2<\/em> and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor\u2019s Edge<\/em>\u2014with most of the previously released game modes and downloadable content costumes in one thrilling collection.<\/p>\n

The Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection<\/em> brings the renowned action games to PC and consoles, allowing fans and newcomers alike to experience the tale of \u201csuper ninja\u201d Ryu Hayabusa as he battles deadly fiends causing chaos around the world. Ninja Gaiden Sigma<\/em>, originally released in 2007, set the standard of high-speed action for the series\u2014introducing dual-wielding weapons, and a Mission Mode alongside its gripping Story Mode. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2<\/em>, originally released in 2009, continued Hayabusa\u2019s journey alongside characters Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji, with four difficulty levels testing player\u2019s battle techniques with every heart-stopping fight. The latest entry, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor\u2019s Edge<\/em>, originally released in 2012, upped the challenge with powerful new enemies and fiercely violent depictions, as well as bringing Kasumi into the action, making it the series\u2019 most alluring white-knuckle experience to date.<\/p>\n

The nostalgic yet timeless action of the three games offers a highly responsive and challenging experience \u2013 with battles that require defensive and offensive moves similar to fighting games. Players can enjoy playing as the fan-favorite ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, alongside the additional characters such as Ayane, Rachel, Momiji and Kasumi as they appeared in the original version of the games. Nioh 2<\/em> Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n

To celebrate the reveal of Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection<\/em>, Team Ninja will also run a special collaboration with Nioh 2<\/em>. The development team have created the \u201cDragon Ninja\u201d skin, which players can use to transform themselves into Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection<\/em>. Players who own Nioh 2 \u2013 The Complete Edition<\/em> (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC) or Nioh 2<\/em> (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4) can download this costume for use in-game starting on February 18\u2014with further details on this collaboration detailed on the official Nioh 2<\/em> website<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
