The copper contract on the London Metal Exchange touched its highest level since April 2012.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       The broader Stoxx Europe 600<br \/>\n        SXXP,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599654\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.07%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       wobbled between gains and losses, losing 0.1% in midmorning trade after two days of declines. Stocks are beginning to struggle, with the yield on the benchmark U.S. 10-year Treasury rising on hopes the global economy will reflate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMomentum has started to fade as U.S. equities were slowed by the tech sector and 10 year Treasury yields<br \/>\n        TMUBMUSD10Y,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.000%\" channel=\"\" class=\"\">1.286%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       and the dollar<br \/>\n        DXY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598269\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.22%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       is being boosted by positive U.S. retail sales figures,\u201d said Rony Nehme, chief market analyst at Squared Financial.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. stock futures<br \/>\n        ES00,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/209948968\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.31%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       were weaker heading into Thursday\u2019s session, which will feature retailer Walmart\u2019s<br \/>\n        WMT,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207374728\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+1.06%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       earnings, a busy slate of economic releases, and a congressional hearing on video<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s retailer GameStop<br \/>\n        GME,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203755179\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-7.21%<\/bg-quote><span>.<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n<p>Traders in Europe digested a busy slate of earnings.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus<br \/>\n        AIR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/208224336\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-3.63%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       shares fell 4%, as the European aircraft maker forecast delivering the same number of aircraft and break-even free cash flow. It is targeting an adjusted earnings before interest and tax of \u20ac2 billion, after earning \u20ac1.7 billion on the same measure in 2020 and \u20ac6.95 billion in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Smith &amp; Nephew<br \/>\n        SN,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207176500\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-4.56%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       the medical equipment maker, fell 5% as the company said its profit margins for 2021 will be worse than 2019, due to reduced production volumes, increased research and development investments, acquisitions and foreign-exchange moves.<\/p>\n<p>Varta<br \/>\n        VAR1,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207924135\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-12.56%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       the automotive battery company, dropped 10% amid reporting a 145% rise in adjusted operating profit on a 140% rise in revenue for 2020 and deciding to pay a special dividend of \u20ac2.50 per share.
