Governor, do you recall how your brother was so offended when critics called him Fredo? Or your father\u2019s famous rage at media<\/a> talk of the mafia?<\/p>\n

But if your family is so offended by comparisons to \u201cThe Godfather,\u201d why do you keep acting like a two-bit don?<\/p>\n

Assemblyman Ron Kim says he was bathing his children at home when \u201cGov. Cuomo called me directly on Thursday to threaten my career\u201d if Kim did not walk back comments about Cuomo and COVID deaths in nursing homes. \u201cHe tried to pressure me to issue a statement, and it was a very traumatizing experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The governor of New York then told his fellow Democrat that \u201cwe\u2019re in this business together and we don\u2019t cross certain lines and he said I hadn\u2019t seen his wrath and that he can destroy me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bullying, threatening, Cuomo even made some baseless ethics charges against Kim to round things out. All that\u2019s missing is the horse\u2019s head in the bed.<\/p>\n

Cuomo\u2019s fury is infamous; most of his aides walk in fear of his tantrums \u2014 which is one reason his staff turnover is so high. But threatening a legislator in this way is a new low.<\/p>\n

Gov. Cuomo is used to the friendly environment of his brother\u2019s CNN show, and he\u2019s furious that the media and politicians finally have discovered the extent of the nursing home COVID debacle and his coverup.<\/p>\n

For Cuomo, it\u2019s not just politics. It\u2019s always, always personal.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
