Frogwares will release The Sinking City<\/em> for PlayStation 5 on February 19 for $49.99, the developer announced. A Deluxe Edition will also be available for $64.99. <\/span><\/p>\n

The PlayStation 5 version will not feature a free upgrade from the PlayStation 4 version. In a statement<\/a>, Frogwares said, \u201cThe Sinking City<\/em> on PlayStation 4 and on PlayStation 5 have different publishers on record. On PlayStation 5, Frogwares is the developer and publisher of the game<\/a>. As the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games have different game IDs and due to an ongoing current legal and technical situation, this game is currently not eligible for a platform upgrade.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Lovecraftian horror game first launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in June 2019, followed by Switch in September 2019.<\/p>\n
