Former first daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump has ruled out a 2022 Senate run against Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio.<\/p>\n

Ivanka Trump, 39, recently told Rubio, 49, that she won\u2019t launch a primary challenge against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can confirm that Marco and Ivanka did speak a few weeks ago,\u201d a spokesman for Rubio\u2019s re-election campaign told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cIvanka offered her support for Marco\u2019s reelection and they had a great talk. I can also confirm that we are discussing a joint event to highlight Marco and Ivanka\u2019s successful push to expand the Child Tax Credit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rubio and former President Donald Trump had a bruising 2016 presidential primary fight, with Rubio emerging as one of the last-standing centrist Republicans challenging the billionaire political novice.<\/p>\n

The Florida senator tried to mock the size of Trump\u2019s hands, though he later revealed he apologized for it, and the future president nicknamed him \u201cLittle Marco.\u201d But after Trump became president, the two dropped the personal attacks and worked together on common conservative goals.<\/p>\n

News<\/a> broke about Ivanka Trump\u2019s decision after Rubio on Saturday voted to acquit Trump of inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, though the conversation reportedly happ<\/a>ened before he cast his vote in the Senate impeachment trial.<\/p>\n

In a show of her potential viability as a candidate, Ivanka Trump drew long lines in Florida as she campaigned last year for her father\u2019s re-election. She and her father are setting down roots in Florida after leaving DC. <\/p>\n

Trump carried Florida on Nov. 3 by a comfortable margin driven by increased support among Latinos in South Florida.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
