But in the meantime, Lucasfilm Games has teamed up with online and mobile game creator Zynga to deliver a new video game called <strong><em>Star Wars: Hunters<\/em><\/strong>, coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.<span id=\"more-658474\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Star_Wars_Hunters_Video_Game_Trailer\"><\/span>Star Wars: Hunters Video Game Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Star Wars: Hunters\u2122 - Official Teaser Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lE_COidlDYk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.starwars.com\/news\/star-wars-hunters-game-announce\">StarWars.com<\/a> announced the upcoming <em>Star Wars: Hunters<\/em> video game with the above teaser trailer. The title is said to be a competitive arena combat game with team-based, multiplayer battles featuring an ensemble of new, original <em>Star Wars<\/em> characters. Here\u2019s a brief synopsis for the game:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire,\u00a0<em>Star Wars: Hunters<\/em>\u00a0will connect players in real time to battle in arena settings inspired by iconic\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0locales. Play as daring Bounty Hunters, heroes of the Rebellion, and an Imperial stormtrooper, in an action game that immerses players in fast-paced and visually stunning\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0conflict.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The teaser trailer above shows off some of the characters you\u2019ll be able to play as. There\u2019s a Wookiee warrior, a Mandalorian of some kind, an Imperial Stormtrooper with some heavy weaponry, and a red lightsaber-wielding fighter. With this array of characters and the competitive arena setting, we\u2019re guessing this is the <em>Star Wars<\/em> version of games like <em>Fortnite<\/em>. After all, just like the popular online game, <em>Star Wars: Hunters<\/em> will be free to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download<\/a> on the Nintendo Switch (where you <em>won\u2019t<\/em> need an online membership to play), and it will be available from the Apple App Store and Google Play. That means there will likely be in-game purchases for costumes, weapons, and other assorted gear.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Douglas Reilly<\/strong>, VP of Lucasfilm Games, offered this up in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c<em>Star Wars<\/em>:\u00a0<em>Hunters<\/em>\u00a0draws inspiration from classic\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0stories and settings, but with a look and feel that is different from anything we have done before. We\u2019re thrilled to introduce this wildly creative cast of characters to our fans on Nintendo Switch, where they can join with their friends in thrilling battles at home or on the go.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When I first saw the teaser trailer for <em>Star Wars: Hunters<\/em>, I was hoping that this might finally be the successor to the fighting game <em>Star Wars: Masters of <\/em><span class=\"aCOpRe\"><em>Ter\u00e4s K\u00e4si<\/em> from the original PlayStation. Though it\u2019s not remembered as one of the better <em>Star Wars<\/em> games, it was a favorite of my youth, and I\u2019d like to see some kind of next-generation update.
