“#International ‘FBI’ Spin-Off Reportedly in the Works at CBS<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The FBI<\/em>franchise could be expanding its borders at CBS as an international version of the series<\/a> is reportedly in the works.<\/p>\n

This new iteration, according to Variety<\/em><\/a>, is being referred to as FBI: International<\/em> and would follow agents that make up an international branch of the FBI. The United State Federal Bureau of Investigation has offices across the globe, working alongside foreign law enforcement.<\/p>\n

On the Bureau\u2019s official website<\/a>, these offices keep in close contact with other federal agencies including Interpol. FBI: International<\/em> is reportedly being written by Derek Haas who will executive produce with Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski.<\/p>\n

Haas is the former co-showrunner of CBS\u2019s original FBI<\/em> series and also created NBC\u2019s One Chicago<\/em> slate Chicago Fire<\/em>, Chicago P.D.<\/em>, and Chicago Med<\/em>which are produced under the Wolf Entertainment banner that also makes NBC\u2019s Law & Order<\/em> series.<\/p>\n
