The story originally comes from a series of novels, then became a video game and, more recently, became a Netflix series. Now the story is being adapted again, because at the beginning of 2020 the streaming service announced that an anime series is also being planned. A few months have now passed and we already know a lot more about the upcoming cartoon. We have the update!

Magic video game heroes compared

Although the protagonist is originally from a Polish series of novels by fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski, most people know Geralt as the hero of the video game series The Witcher. The first part of CD Project Red was released in 2007, and since then the two sequels The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt come out. Even today, the last part of the trilogy counts as one of the best games for the consoles, even though it was released in 2015. Both graphics and plot can easily keep up with today’s games, which is why the hype surrounding Geralt has never really subsided. Wizards are still extremely popular characters in games that provide a perfect base for exciting battle scenes, mystical stories and excellent game designs. Most witchers follow a clear stereotype. Long gray hair and beards, a haunted look and long robes are part of this typical representation. The old, wise wizards can be found in many games: The Big Hat character from Logan Dark Souls is the perfect example of this. The magician died a few centuries ago, but rose from the dead again in search of new wisdom. In the slot Secrets of Alchemy at https://www.vegasslotsonline.com/de the player is given another character who can immediately be identified as a magician. The reason for this is his long hair and thick beard. With the different characters and mystical objects on the reels, players can win big, but the game can also be tested for free. Geralt himself doesn’t correspond at all to the stereotypical magician. The young, handsome witcher is known for his fighting talent and strength, which makes him not only a magician, but also a warrior and womanizer at the same time.

Netflix released some details about the anime

In 2019, Netflix brought the first season of the series The Witcher to the streaming platform. Since then, the magician has received significantly more fans. Henry Cavill, the Hollywood handsome, who many know as a Superman actor, has since taken on the role of Geralt, emphasizing the atypical staging of the witcher. As a monster hunter he fights his way through the wilderness and gets into trouble again and again. In the season, three parallel actions are told that only come together at the end. The second season should finally appear in 2021. But not only that! The anime announced by Netflix 2020 is also expected this year. The film under the title The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf should not act Geralt, but instead focus on his mentor Vesemir. The whole continent faces a massive threat in the anime and the witcher must mobilize all his powers to save the world from collapse. The anime is produced by Studio Kir, a Korean animation studio that works for anime like The Legend of Korra responsible for. The plot for the film comes from the pen of Beau DeMayo, who also worked on the Netflix series. The showrunner from the Netflix production is also on board and will help ensure that both adaptations fit together well despite the different formats. The character Vesemir also appears in the series and is embodied by two different actors. The younger version of Geralt’s mentor is played by Theo James, and Kim Bodnia will slip into the role from the second season. Whether one of the two actors will take over the voice in the anime has not yet been confirmed.

Both the Anime The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf as well as the second season of the Netflix series appear on the streaming platform. There is currently no trailer, but Netflix released the first logo animation for the film at Christmas https://www.netflix.com/de and thus offered an insight into the drawing style of the anime. In the meantime, those who can hardly wait have the opportunity to experience Geralt’s story in a different way: You can choose from the novel series, several film adaptations, the first season of the Netflix series and of course the famous video game series!

The article New details about “The Witcher” anime known first appeared on BuradaBiliyorum.Com.

If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
