Oliver Stark stars as the scene-stealing firefighter Evan \u201cBuck\u201d Buckley on Fox\u2019s \u201c9-1-1.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now in its fourth season (Mondays at 8 p.m.), the hit series<\/a> follows the lives of several first responders in LA, including Buck\u2019s 911 operator sister Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), LAPD sergeant Athena Grant (Angela Bassett), LAFD station captain Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), firefighter\/paramedic Howie \u201cChimney\u201d Han (Kenneth Choi) and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The British-born Stark, 29 \u2014 also also known for \u201cInto The Badlands\u201d and \u201cLuther\u201d \u2014 answered some questions for The Post.<\/p>\n

What do you like the most about Buck?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I get to play this character who is so different from other [characters] on TV. He\u2019s super-cocky at times and plays a bit too much into the macho stereotype \u2014 but then, at the same time, he can be vulnerable and sensitive. It\u2019s something that I\u2019m really enjoying.<\/p>\n

Is there anything about your real-life persona that you\u2019ve added to Buck?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think as an actor you always bring a certain element of your own life experience to a part. When I first auditioned for the role, one of the things that I like to think helped me secure the role is [that] I tried to bring a little bit of London charisma and London charm, rather than play the stereotypical California firefighter that we\u2019ve seen before. This is quite a British word to use, but I thought, \u201cLet\u2019s make him a little cheeky.\u201d I think pulling that from my own experience really gave Buck this new element that people seem to connect to.<\/p>\n

This show is known for its outlandish disasters. Was there one that was the most fun to film?<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of my favorites goes all the way back to Season 1. It was this episode where, because there was a full moon, everybody was going particularly crazy. Myself and Peter Krause\u2019s character, Bobby, go into this yoga studio with a yoga class for pregnant women \u2014 three of whom happ<\/a>ened to go into labor. It was just such a chaotic night, but chaotic in the best way. We had fun with it. That one always sticks out in my mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n
