A data mine of Nintendo\u2019s Mario 3D World Switch port has revealed plans for a sixth character, reports VGC<\/a>. The character may have not been introduced into the game for reasons yet unknown.<\/p>\n

First discovered by twitter<\/a> user Nickolox<\/a>, the files are supposedly related to the character Toadette, initially intended to be a playable character. The individual also said that they have also found 214 player animations for the character and a voice line. There are, however, no character models.

I’ve been doing some digging through SM3DW’s files, recently.
Toadette was going to be playable at some point.<\/p>\n

So far I’ve found a few traces of her in the player files.
She has a voice line for being selected, and I also found 214 player animations.
No models however.<\/p>\n
