Actress Gina Carano, recently fired from the cast of \u201cThe Mandalorian,\u201d isn\u2019t going the apology route favored by many celebrities who run afoul of cancel culture.<\/p>\n

Instead, she\u2019s taking aim at the executives at Disney+ and Lucasfilm who booted her two weeks ago, calling them \u201cbullies,\u201d Deadline reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been through so much, and I\u2019ve seen so much now, clearly, of the bullying that\u2019s been taking place, and I saw it before,\u201d Carano reportedly tells conservative commentator Ben Shapiro of \u201cThe Daily Wire\u201d in her first interview since being ousted, which will air on his show Sunday. \u201cI\u2019m not the only one that\u2019s ever been bullied by this company, and I know that so deeply.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI could share a story which would turn things around in the media<\/a> but I can\u2019t because it would sell out a friend. \u2026 Everyone is afraid of losing their job.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carano, 38, who played bounty hunter Cara Dune in the first two seasons of \u201cThe Mandalorian, was fired from the show for her controversial social media posts.<\/p>\n

The \u201cStar Wars\u201d giant made no secret of why she was canceled, ripping \u201cher social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities,\u201d which it called \u201cabhorrent and unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former MMA fighter told Shapiro, with whom she recently made a movie deal<\/a>, she knew executives were watching her well before her firing.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know how boxers head-hunt sometimes and forget to go for the body? I feel like Disney or Lucasfilm or whoever it is, just certain people at that company\u2026I feel like I\u2019ve been being head-hunted (\u2026) and you can feel it. Just a couple of weeks ago, Lucasfilm asked an artist that they employ to erase my character and put a different character in place, and he proudly announces this on Twitter, and erases my character and puts another character in place. All the fans of Cara Dune were just outraged. They were like \u2018Why didn\u2019t you add the character? Why did you have to take off the character? Is there something wrong? Is Gina getting fired?\u201d<\/p>\n

Carano said a Disney staffer mistakenly sent her a company email about her following the social media reaction to her posts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey accidentally sent me an email, which was very enlightening, so I knew. I knew they were paying attention. I know there were some people who went to bat for me, but I know that they didn\u2019t win out at the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carano\u2019s most controversial message \u2014 and the one that app<\/a>ears to have been the final straw \u2014 came when she shared an image from Nazi Germany and compared it to today\u2019s overheated political climate.<\/p>\n

\u201cJews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors\u2026. even by children,\u201d her post stated.<\/p>\n

Another photo on Carano\u2019s Instagram story featured a person with several masks covering their face and head with the caption: \u201cMeanwhile in California.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carano, according to Deadline, will tell Shapiro that she has no intention of walking back her remarks or becoming less outspoken just to please Hollywood executives.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was prepared at any point to be let go, because I\u2019ve seen this happen to so many people,\u201d Carano will say. \u201d I\u2019ve seen the looks on their faces. I\u2019ve seen the bullying that takes place, and so when this started, they point their guns at you, and you know it\u2019s only a matter of time. I\u2019ve seen it happen to so many people, and I just thought to myself (\u2026) \u2018you\u2019re coming for me, I know you are.\u2019 They\u2019re making it very obvious through their employees who were coming for me, and so I was like, \u2018I\u2019m going to go down swinging and I\u2019m going to stay true to myself.\u2019\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
